How do my milestones sync between devices? +

LifeTally uses iCloud (CloudKit) to keep your events, people, and milestones in sync across your devices. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID and have iCloud enabled, syncing happens automatically — there's no separate LifeTally account to create.

Why does LifeTally ask for Photos access? +

Two reasons, both optional: to set a profile photo for a person or event, and to power Photo Memories, which surfaces your own photos from past milestones. Your photos are never uploaded to us — they stay on your device and in your iCloud. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy → Photos → LifeTally.

Why does it ask for Contacts access? +

With your permission, LifeTally can import friends' and family members' birthdays and anniversaries from Contacts so you don't have to enter them by hand. Contact data stays on your device and in your iCloud. You can revoke this in Settings → Privacy → Contacts → LifeTally.

Will LifeTally remind me about upcoming milestones? +

Yes — with notifications enabled, LifeTally can remind you about birthdays, anniversaries, and countdowns so you never miss the moment. You control which reminders you get in the app's settings.

How do I delete my data? +

Your data lives in your iCloud, not on our servers. Delete an event or person in the app to remove it, or remove everything from iCloud via Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → LifeTally. We have no copy to delete on your behalf.

How do I report a bug or request a feature? +

Email feedback@mawapa.app — every message gets read. For bugs, a screenshot or screen recording helps a lot.
